Sarah Hanson has just been fired from her job to make way for a younger and skinnier replacement. She has no idea what she is going to do next but she has to find a way to take care of her pregnant sister. In the taxi on her way home she falls asleep.

Sarah awakens to the strains of a waltz and a gorgeous man with green eyes calling her name. She doesn’t understand where she is or how she got there. Everyone seems to know her but she doesn’t recognize them. She is shocked to realize what she first assumed was a dream is very real. Somehow she has been transported to 19th century England and into someone else’s life.

The author describes the Regency period in vivid detail. I really enjoyed the way Ms. Kirch makes Sarah’s journey to the past seem possible within the world she created something that is not easy to do. The plot is interesting and a lot of fun. I really enjoyed getting to know Sarah. I identified with her. She felt very real to me. Drake is sexy but conflicted enough to be very intriguing. The secondary characters are also very well-developed. TIME FOR LOVE by Kelly Kirch is an excellent example of why I love time travel romance.
