Sebastian Digby, the Duke of Wycliff, has been abroad for many years. He has seen things most men only dream about. All that comes to a standstill when he is forced to take a reprieve. Sebastian plans on being home just long enough to gather what he needs for his next adventure. His stay becomes a little more than temporary when he realizes he is all but broke. As if that is not bad enough, The London Weekly keeps running stories on him that are not helping him in the least. Sebastian decides to uncover the person behind the stories, and in doing so, he gets the surprise of a lifetime.
THE TATTOOED DUKE is a phenomenal addition to Maya Rodale's THE WRITING GIRLS series. It did not take long for me to discover that it is most assuredly my favorite in the series. Eliza and Sebastian together equal pure passion, and their story is sure to tug at the heart strings. Sebastian is not your average duke; everything about him is different, his manner, dress and way of thinking. Those attributes and the fact that he is hot definitely had me wanting more. Not only do we get an awesome hero, but the heroine is just as fascinating. Eliza is obviously a lady, but she defies her time and circumstances with the way she thinks and expresses herself. THE TATTOOED DUKE is a keeper.
