The Roguish Miss Penn

Katherine thought making a quick stop to pick flowers on her way home could do no harm. She was wrong! For starters, Katherine was caught by the owner, trampled by his dog and knocked into the pond--all in a matter of minutes! She should be embarrassed and ashamed of herself for trespassing, but when Philip stood on the bank offering his hand, her mind lost all logic.

Philip was walking his pet and couldn't believe his eyes. Who was that woman down near the pond and more important, what was she doing? His clumsy heavy dog turned an almost certain tense inquiry into a ridiculous situation. The woman fell into the pond, her goose not willing to come ashore, and Philip barely contained his laughter.

Katherine intrigued him and he needed to find a way to keep her company as often as he could. She was a pure joy and mystery to him.

Katherine longed to see her play live on stage. There was only one theatre in town, and during the two weeks of the fair was the only time it was used for the public, and never a play written by a woman.

When Katherine learned of the theatre in Philip's home, you can imagine her delight. If only he would offer her the use of it. If only she had the cast, and funds to see her play live. Dare she ask Philip both for the backing of funds and the use of the stage? Would it ruin their friendship that was forming? Would Philip, Lord Ramsey, be put off by a woman who aired her dreams and desires?

Toss Katherine's bother, best friend, aunt, and goose into the mix, and you have the perfect read! Please don't pass THE ROGUISH MISS PENN over. Hurry out and grab your copy now, you'll be hooked right away! I'll be looking for more books from Ms. Hendrickson.
