Lady Lisa Madison has been in love with Lord Robert Langley for as long as she can remember. Unfortunately, he still treats her like a little sister. All of that soon changes when Lisa accepts the invitation from a friend for a clandestine meeting. What starts out as a friendly visit soon becomes a horrifying scenario where Lisa finds herself drugged, locked in a room, awaiting a man the madam keeps calling her "suitor". Lisa is scared out of her wits, but quickly devises a plan to make her escape.

Robert is puzzled when Lisa's maid shows up at his door. After he hears her story, he instantly reacts by rushing out into the night to save Lisa from certain ruin. He arrives just in the nick of time, and they flee unscathed. Knowing that someone is out to get Lisa makes Robert very uncomfortable. That is when he decides that he had best stick close to her for a while to make sure she stays safe. Suddenly, Robert begins seeing Lisa in a whole new light. It seems her goal is to find a husband this season, and it does not take long before he realizes that he wants to be that man.

Lynsay Sands always manages to keep me involved in her stories. The third and final book in the MADISON SISTERS series, THE HUSBAND HUNT is absolutely charming. I really enjoyed the first two books, THE COUNTESS and THE HEIRESS as well, but the third, THE HUSBAND HUNT really ties the series together and brings the series to a wonderful close. Lisa and Robert are some of the most relatable characters that I have read about in a while. They are a match made in heaven, and theirs is a love story to be remembered. It is definitely a keeper.
