Star Attraction

Sam Coles is well on his way to being a Hollywood star. His new movie promises to make him even more popular. He is looking forward to getting started with the shoot but he is dismayed and very excited to learn that one of his co-stars is none other than Elijah McKinley. From the moment the two first met Sam has felt an intense attraction to the other actor. He is happy to have an excuse to spend time with Elijah but he is afraid he won’t be able to hide how he feels.

As the two begin to work together it quickly becomes evident that they have chemistry on and off screen. Elijah returns Sam’s feeling with matching intensity and the two men don’t waste any time getting to know one another better. They have to be careful. The year is 1955 and if anyone realizes how close they truly are their careers will be ruined.

This novel is set against the interesting and unusual backdrop of 1950’s Hollywood. The descriptions are well done and the reader gets a good idea of what being a gay actor during this time must have been like. These two men have powerful chemistry between them. The need for secrecy increases the sexual tension which is palpable throughout the story. Sam and Elijah have are extremely amiable and appealing characters that make reading STAR ATTRACTION by Jamie Craig a pleasant way to spend a rainy afternoon.
