When Maybelle accompanies her grandmother to a ball, there is a man who catches her eye. Delilah Marvelle may be a new author on the scene, but with MISTRESS OF PLEASURE she has proven she is one author to watch. This is one novel that is a breath of fresh air. The way Marvelle has set up Edmund and Maybelle’s relationship is quite an eye opener. Their witty banter and attraction for each other makes for some great scenes. Their best interactions take place when Maybelle is giving her lessons, which should bring out some laughs.

Edmund is sweet, seductive and also very stubborn because he wants things his way or no way at all. But Maybelle puts him in his place with very pleasing results. And when these two finally come to terms with their feelings for each other, the love scenes between them will not disappoint in anyway.
