It Takes Moxie

Moxie needs to get to Chicago to meet up with fiancé Vic. Jumping in a random car, she orders the driver to take her to the train station. The trouble begins when things don’t go quite the way Moxie planned. The driver, Ben Kincaid, is a government agent and there are thugs on the trail of stolen diamonds. The pair find themselves on the road from St. Augustine to Chicago, dodging crooks - and love.   Neither Ben nor Moxie planned on falling for each other, but it is happening anyway as the pair spends more and more time together.

IT TAKES MOXIE is a fresh and fast paced caper that had this reader in stitches for a large portion of the book.   When I thought things would slow down, they picked up again, never veering away from the main storyline.   Moxie is a woman after my own heart.   She is brave and true, strong and smart, charming and funny.   She felt remarkably like an old friend.   Ben is a real “man’s man” who has no qualms about using the girl to his own advantage. Too bad for him that he gets snared by a smart-alecky and beautiful woman. The chemistry is instantaneous between Moxie and Ben, humming along throughout. It was easy to see these two belonged together; their zest for life and dedication to a cause were just two of the things that pulled them together. The secondary cast adds extra impact to the adventure, keeping the action ongoing. For a screwball adventure you will not soon forget IT TAKES MOXIE is well worth the time and money spent.
