On his way home, Alexander runs into a very interesting problem; a strange little dog trying to get his attention about something. He is shocked to his core when he sees that something is a woman dangling from a cliff. Alexander rushes to her aid and manages to save her from certain death. When the lady, Roxanne, tells him of how she came to be there and how she was left for dead, Alexander offers her his protection.
That is how Roxanne Newton, under the alias Tatiana, finds herself a guest in Alexander's home. To avoid prying eyes and ears, they agree to disguise her as his cousin. It does not take long for Roxanne and Alexander to realize how ridiculous that idea is. Neither seems to be able to deny the strong attraction that exists between them. Alexander wants Roxanne to be his and his alone. He is willing to give every effort if it means that they can be together.
Sophia Nash pens a splendidly entertaining new series, ROYAL ENTOURAGE. I actually read the second book, THE ART OF DUKE HUNTING first. It is amazingly good, and to be honest, reading it first did not take away any from the first novel in this series, BETWEEN THE DUKE AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA. I enjoyed the first book just as much. I fell in love with the intriguing characters and fast-paced storyline. BETWEEN THE DUKE AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA is a page-turner. I definitely burned the midnight oil in order to finish this captivating read. I will be waiting patiently for the release of the third novel in the ROYAL ENTOURAGE series.
