Since Angela can speak French, King William has entrusted her with speaking to the other ladies about the changes that will occur in their lives as well as explain the consequences of not accepting his dictates.  In exchange Angela will be married off to one of his finest knights.  That’s a ‘reward’ Angela could happily do without.

C. Brown’s storytelling abilities shine in BETROTHED TO THE ENEMY and I’ll definitely be on the lookout for more stories by this author.
