Lady Portia Ellerslie, close friend to Queen Victoria , is the young widow of a national hero.   She grew up as a minister’s daughter and is accustomed to putting others before herself.   Now a nation looks to her as their “angel in widow weeds.” However, she is desperate for just one night of passion for herself.

I absolutely adored A SEDUCTION IN SCARLET. Passion and intrigue abound in this steamy, historical romance. Ms. Bennett builds the suspense and passion to a feverish pitch as she unfolds this tale of love and betrayal. The reader will keep turning pages as they get caught up in the story. I highly recommend A SEDUCTION IN SCARLET.
