WHEN YOU DARE is the first book in Lori Foster’s new series. The danger is on but it is tempered by Molly and Dare. They each have a good head on their shoulders and try to piece together what happened to Molly, with the available clues. Dare is not used to a case getting personal like this but there is no doubt that he wants to see Molly safe for more than professional reasons. While I found this story to be rather long, I nonetheless enjoyed many aspects of it, including the secondary characters. In particular, Dare’s friend Chris is incredibly amusing and helps add some great levity and understanding into Dare. The case has its ups and downs but through it all, the danger and the dead ends, Molly and Dare grow closer and that is the true satisfaction in this story.
