It has been a month since Ali has broken up with Trey, her boyfriend of three years. Ali is so depressed that she has lost ten pounds and decides to cut off her long hair. She misses Trey every day, but ever since their fight she thinks they will never get back together. All she asked about was getting married after a wonderful weekend of making love. Trey snapped at her, not comprehending why she would think of marriage when everything was so great between the two. Ali had enough and broke things off with the only man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.

Trey realizes the big mistake he made and misses Ali desperately. He wants to make things right between them and knows she is the only woman he would want to marry. But he has great friends on his side, and Ali’s friend Beth tells him about a masquerade party where he can wear a costume and a mask and seduce Ali there. Trey knows he has a lot cut out for him, but he will go to this party and try to win his love back.

Ali also goes to this party, but is alone since Beth and her boyfriend Josh have horrible colds. Ali is about to leave when a mysterious masked man asks her to dance. He makes her fell alive and carefree for the first time in a month. But can she betray the memory of her love with Trey and move forward?

UNMASK ME is a sexy short story about two people who made a wrong decision and come to the conclusion they truly belong with each other. Trey’s reaction to Ali’s question seems to be one that most men make, but at least he soon realizes what a big mistake he made. You can feel his feelings for Ali are very strong and visa versa.

When Trey and Ali go to their costume party and hold each other close, even though Ali does not know it is Trey, right away you can tell these two are perfect for each other. Kat Bishop makes sure to work things out between these two and rather than just rely on only action, they both communicate with each other which ends in some passionate love making between the two. Overall, UNMASK ME is a nice little romance that is very real and worth the read.
