Brock Vencenza has everything a man could want a successful career and a very expensive apartment but he is very lonely because he doesn’t have anyone with whom to share his life. One day he is shocked to receive a call from the last person he ever expected, the love of his life. He and Eric broke up years ago but Brock has never stopped loving him. Eric desperately needs help and he doesn’t have anyone else to turn to. Someone has kidnapped his three year-old daughter and they want a $100,000 ransom. Even after all these years Brock can’t resist Eric. He immediately sets out to do whatever he can to help Eric and bring his daughter Josie home. Now, that Eric is back in his life Brock isn’t sure if he can go back to living without him.

UNLIKELY HERO is one of the sweetest romances I have ever read. I felt the strength of Brock and Eric’s love for one another. It felt very real to me. Josie is also absolutely adorable. I had no trouble imagining her. Brocks interactions wither are awkward at first but he quickly figures out what to do. They are very cute together. I really enjoyed the interactions of all three of these characters. The plot also offers some suspense and tension for the characters and the reader as well. UNLIKELY HERO by Sean Michael touched my heart and made me smile.
