Touching Lace

When Lacey discovers her boyfriend cheating on her with her friend, she is dumbstruck. She's more upset that he was with her friend than with the actual cheating though. She really liked Christy. Lacey's friend Nick arrives determined to bring her out of her funk though. Why can't she find a guy like Nick? A man that totally gets her and is so sweet and caring—she'd give anything for a man like him. Lacey has always thought about Nick as her best friend, never expecting to discover more with him. When she suddenly starts having sensual thoughts of him, she worries about what it will do to their friendship. Besides, Nick only cares about her as a friend, right?

Nick has had it bad for Lacey for as long as he's known her. It's always just been the wrong time for them. This time he's determined to show her that they belong together, even if it kills him!  Nick discovers that Lacey thinks she's lousy in bed and feels like that's why her relationships don't work out. Nick is going to work his butt off to prove to Lacey that there is nothing wrong with her, only with the men she picks. She needs a man who can stand up to her own dominance in the bedroom and Nick just happens to believe that he's that man. Convincing Lacey to move their relationship in that direction is going to take a fair amount of coaxing though.

Strap yourselves in for one heck of an orgasmic ride! TOUCHING LACE by Anne Rainey has left my mouth watering and my libido soaring. Lacey has a hidden sensuality to her that I just knew was going to burst to the forefront of this story. She's sweet and gentle but just had this hidden aspect to her personality that I could relate to. She is a perfect counterpoint to Nick's personality. He's so alpha he made me melt into a gooey puddle. He's strong, confident and won't give up on Lacey, no matter what her qualms about their relationship are. The lengths he will go to to bring them together are nothing short of amazing. He uses sex as motivation, never expecting that she's just willing to walk away after. He's sure she has feelings for him too. Lacey does, but she's very afraid that she'll lose him in the end, so she doesn't want to get to close to him. He's her friend and that's the most important thing to her. When they both discover the love they have for one another, my heart felt complete for them. TOUCHING LACE is truly an inspirational love story with all the wonderful elements that only Anne Rainey knows to how accomplish in her stories. I was left completely satisfied with this story, but craving more from her very soon!
