Mitchell Collins has been lusting after a certain woman since he first saw her at Club Fetish four weeks ago.  He’s studied her profile and done everything possible to garner her attention – all to no avail.  He knows that she works for Wolf Radio as a newsreader but so far that knowledge hasn’t helped at all – until now.  For a sizable donation to the radio stations charity he’ll receive a kiss live on air.  He can only hope that it’ll lead to much more.

Elise Blake isn’t at all happy to learn that she’s being suckered into an on air kiss for promotional purposes.  The last thing she expects is the one man whom she recognizes from her visit to Club Fetish a month ago to show up to claim a kiss.  Elise admits to a fascination with the BDSM lifestyle, and even fantasizing about Mitchell since that visit, but she’s been with wealthy men before and she isn’t interested in putting up with another one’s arrogance.

Mitchell’s pursuit of Elise has been a driving need in his life for the past month, and she’s tactfully avoided every single one of his attempts to get to know her.  This radio promotion brings their little cat and mouse game to a screeching halt because there’s no denying that with one on-air kiss a wealth of need has been unleashed.  Oh sure she could have ended it right there but then Mitchell ups the ante and volunteers to make an additional donation of ten thousand dollars if Elise will agree to go to dinner with him that night. 

What transpires is far more than a night of fine dining as Mitchell takes the situation in hand and lures her to his home and then forces her to be honest with herself and him.  There’s a sexual attraction and try as she might, Elise can’t hide her need to be submissive with a lover.  Mitchell’s a Master and he has every intention of training her to be the sort of submissive that he desires and she longs to be.  Is she truly prepared for this new facet of her life?

THE MASTER’S PRIZE is an exciting tale that allows readers to examine the early stages of a BDSM relationship.  Maggie Nash tells this story using such vivid details and gives the characters realistic reactions so that it’s easy to feel like you’re actually present during their interactions and witnessing the whole thing.  What I especially like about this story is that Elise is a strong character and maintains her stubborn streak and independent nature throughout the storyline – even though she does enjoy taking a submissive role with Mitchell.
