Josh spends most of his
time working. Holding down three jobs isn’t easy and it doesn’t leave much time
for relaxation or recreation. Josh doesn’t even have a television and he hasn’t
seen a movie in a long time. Josh might miss having a social life but he has
responsibilities and he is determined to do whatever he has to do to take care
of them.
While he is working as a
bartender at a nightclub in Hollywood Josh notices a man talking to his friend
near the bar. The two are arguing about the man’s lack of a love life. Josh has
to admit that he finds the man, whose name is Ry, very attractive and he
wouldn’t mind getting more up close and personal with him.
After engaging in some
flirting and spending some time alone in the alley behind the club, Josh asks
Ry to come home with him. Ry is obviously trying to hide his identity but he
agrees. Both men are looking forward to spending one night together. However,
giving in to their mutual attraction brings about consequences that neither man
anticipated.
TABLOID STAR starts out
like a typical erotic romance but like with most of T.A. Chases work the reader
quickly realizes that the characters have a lot of depth and the plot takes
some surprising and captivating turns. Josh and Ryan are incredibly hot
together. They have a wonderful chemistry and their initial attraction quickly
deepens into much stronger feelings. Together, both our heroes find the support
and love they never expected to be given. Josh is not only sexy but very
admirable as well. I admired the dedication and love he has for his family. Ry
goes through some interesting changes during the course of the novel. I found
myself cheering him on especially toward the end. TABLIOD STAR is a diverting
and touching story.
