Lila’s father has worked hard for his business so when she hears that a big company is pressuring him to sell she is determined to go to the top man and convince him to leave her father alone.  She never expects to be propositioned by the president of the company.  It’s apparent that he has suffered a horrible accident, but is Lila willing to give herself to him to save her father’s business?

Hunter was in an accident that left him scarred.  He tends to be very careful about the women he becomes involved with now.  When Lila storms into his office, he feels an instant heat and sees a way to solve both their problems.  He’s willing to let her father keep his business if she will agree to be his mistress.  Hunter has the advantage and he will use it to get exactly what he wants, Lila.

Eve Vaughn is well known for amazing characters and intriguing story lines.  Lila is a strong willed woman and her determination is to be admired.  Hunter is the hero who has a major complex about his looks and his shallow girlfriends don’t help.  It’s apparent that he needs a sensitive woman with a loving touch to show him that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  The love scenes are intense and full of explosive passion.  Eve Vaughn is a terrific author and I always know that her stories take readers on an adventure they won’t soon forget.
