Mohan lives life by his own rules and refuses to compromise or change. He is also openly gay and refuses to date any man who isn’t. The decision to be open about all areas in his life has cost him a great deal especially the love and acceptance of his family. Mohan comes from a very traditional Indian family who could not accept a gay son.

All Mohan wants to do is design tattoos and be his own boss. He likes living in Las Vegas and renting space at the hotel but his business isn’t going as well as he’d like and he has just learned the hotel might not be renewing his lease. He has a few months before a final decision will be made and one of the men who will be making the decision is someone who Mohan has secretly desired.

Aaron is a VP at twenty-eight years old. He has worked hard to get where he is. He isn’t out at work and while he knows mixing business with pleasure can be dangerous even so he decides to take a chance on Mohan. He has wanted Mohan for months and he finally makes his move but convincing his lover that he is serious proves more difficult than he ever imagined.

INKING AARON by Cheryl Dragon is a very sensual and satisfying read. Mohan and Aaron are very well developed characters. As I was reading I was especially intrigued by Mohan and what lay behind his tough exterior. Aaron is also intriguing because there is a lot more to him than meets the eye. Together, they are burning hot. The setting is different and the author does a great job of explaining the character’s motivations.
