All she really wanted was a chance to regroup and maybe find a bit of peace following a bitter breakup with her fiancé, instead she’s handcuffed to an imposing Indian God of a man who insists on the wedding taking place – and apparently he doesn’t care that she isn’t his intended bride.
Rajeev never believed that Haley would actually go through with the marriage. The whole idea was to scare her into revealing Anjali’s location but when she stubbornly refuses to do so he forces her to go through with the wedding – and is definitely looking forward to the wedding night. There’s no hiding the sexual attraction between them and as hard as Haley tries to deny it, she’s incredibly attracted to Rajeev. His touch inflames her body and his shocking sexual comments seduce her mind so she has no regrets about giving into their mutual desires. How will she react when she discovers the stunning revelation about their marriage?
The Taj Mahal and the Kama Sutra have Indian roots and bring about a sort of longing and mysterious need to learn more about the country and its people. April Vine captures that intensity with her writing and I am extremely impressed with her ability to capture the heat and passion I’ve often felt when I think of India.
I believe INTRIGUE IN INDIA may very well be one of the sexiest short stories I’ve ever read. April Vine’s incorporation of traditional Indian culture into this erotic story lends it a decidedly cultural flavor that teases and tantalizes the senses. I’ll admit I really wanted to hate Rajeev but found him to be irresistible and downright sexy. There’s something so exciting about how he talks to Haley that I spent a good portion of my time reading fanning my face trying to cool down.
