Maya Banks has been a favorite author of mine for many years. I have yet to read a novel written by her that I have not enjoyed. EXILED is her novella in the CHERISHED anthology, and it is a prime example of her writing at its finest. EXILED is full of passion, adventure, excitement and love. Talia is a strong, captivating young woman and I was thrilled to see that her character development goes so far. She starts out so innocent and naive, but Xander brings out the wanton and carefree woman waiting within. I could not get enough of EXILED... it was that hot.
SWAY by Lauren Dane
Levi Warner's brother is getting married and his wife-to-be is insisting on everyone taking dance classes. Levi knows perfectly well how to dance, but if it keeps his brother out of the doghouse, he is willing to help out any way he can. He accidentally ends up in the wrong class, but that turns out to be to his benefit when he meets the alluring dance instructor, Daisy Huerta. From the moment their eyes meet, Levi knows that she is the one. All he has to do is convince her that no other man can love her like he can.
SWAY is the first story I have ever read that was penned by Lauren Dane, and it will certainly not be the last. SWAY had my attention from page one. It is a well-written read that shows that love truly knows no bounds. Levi proves that men just get better with age. He is a smart, sexy and accomplished man that any woman would be lucky to have. Daisy is young and energetic, and provides just the right amount of balance needed in their relationship. I could not have paired any couple better. SWAY is an outstanding read. I cannot wait to get my hands on another novel by Ms. Dane.
