Lexi Tanner prides herself on helping a charitable kid’s organization. But the organization needed funding and only one man is wealthy enough, and generous enough, to help her—A.J. Riley, from Riley Corporation. In a search to hunt the businessman down, she stumbles upon a handsome stranger that she just so happens to share a steamy night of hot sex with.

Adam, a.k.a. AJ Riley, knew exactly who the tempting Lexi Tanner was, and still that didn’t stop him from spending the night with her. He felt a connection with her from the start, more than just a spark of desire. Regretting his inability to control his hedonistic urges, he sneaks out of the hotel room the next morning and attempts to vanish from Lexi’s life.

Lexi’s project needs AJ Riley’s funding to get off the ground and she heads to Sydney. In a scheduled meeting in his office, she finds AJ Riley is the mysterious stranger she spent the night with. Things spiral out of control upon recognition, and when he claims she slept with him for the donation, her temper fumes. Adam knows which buttons to push, whether it be anger or desire, and enjoys testing her limits. Will Lexi be able to convince Adam she didn’t mislead him and get the funding she needs?

ASK ADAM made me smile the entire length of the story. The conflict is strong between the two characters and kept me guessing what would happen next. I enjoyed Lexi’s character, both the intelligence and stubbornness, and Adam/AJ’s reserve. I love Ms. Dee’s writing and look forward to the next story. ASK ADAM is a highly recommended read!
