I spent the next twelve years traveling around the world with my family, which expanded to a brother and two more sisters. I returned to Virginia for college at Averett College in Danville. My degree was in Medical Technology and I worked for eighteen years in hospital labs, mainly in blood banks. I have been married since 1974 to my own romantic hero, Jim. We have lived in Georgia and North Carolina for his job. We hope to stay in the Atlanta area until we retire. About six years ago, I changed gears and went to work for the Atlanta-Fulton Library System. I have always loved to read and a chance to work with books all day is like a dream come true. I have always read a variety of books, but the romance genre has been a favorite because it is uplifting. A good romance will soothe nerves after a stressful day and has helped me cope when unexpected serious illness hit my normally healthy husband. Thanks to skilled doctors and nurses and the prayers of many, especially my romance reading buddies, he is well again.
I have discovered many talented writers through reviewing and appreciate the positive feedback. It makes reviewing a true labor of love.
